Thanks to Jill for alerting me to the upcoming publication of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. From the official description: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen's beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action.

Can life get any better?

Dang -- I x-posted with you on this. Now I'll get blamed for stealing without attribution!

I hope it's good. I'll be so annoyed if it's dumb.

There's another spoof or take-off of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE that I've been looking to read....PRIDE AND PROMISCUITY! I think it's available on Amazon, but I haven't gotten around to ordering it. Keep hoping to find it in a store somewhere.

On a different note, for those who are Naval Adventure (Hornblower, Jack Aubrey, Lord Ramage) fans, I'm reading a new one called UNDER ENEMY COLORS by S. Thomas Russell. In a nutshell, it's GOOD! (I do question a particular line regarding the time period and a reference to certain uniform accouterments, but...)
