As promised, photos from Sunday's bike ride. Pictures behind the cut for kindness.
1) Why am I sitting on this bike? Where is my coffee?

I'm on the left, my friend Stacey is on my right.
2) A triumphant finish

That's me in the orange.
3) The Cannondale team (orange jerseys compliments of our sponsor)

I'm second from the right, Stacey is second from the left.

Date: 2007-06-14 12:07 am (UTC)My first grown-up bike was a Cannondale & I loved it so much. It was the first bike that ever fit me perfectly ("Oh, you mean they come in SIZES?" asked the 5'2" woman). Unfortunately, a short bike thief loved it that much, too. It was the only one stolen out of a roomful of bike-geek bikes - most of which were much fancier than mine.
Groovy orange jersey, too.

Date: 2007-06-14 12:43 am (UTC)There were many great Cannondale bikes there, including one that weighed less than the pack that I had on the front of my bike :-)
I'm still riding a twelve-year old hybrid bike, which I like, but it's at least ten pounds heavier than a road bike would be. I keep thinking about upgrading, but I'm basically lazy.
